Hi, please let me know if this isn’t a good way to report feedback/issues.
Just received my Go a week or so ago and have been playing around with it, overall really like it! .
Pros:
- Form factor is small enough to be portable, build quality appears good as well
- Packaging was thoughtful and “premium” enough for this kind of product and mission
- Like the tech-y look, from the exposed internals, and could see people customizing theirs with decal cut-outs for the front
- E-ink display, and battery life, much better than competing portable monitors that have PM2.5
Bugs/Issues/Feedback:
- Bug? UX issue? When adjusting settings via the app (iOS), no matter what you set the update interval to, the app shows “10 s”. It took me a while to realize that the setting stuck in the Go, but was just showing up as “10 s” in the app.
- My display LEDs (the ones on the left and right of the display?) also do not light up during the hardware test. Is this a firmware issue or a hardware issue?
- My button LEDs are also out of sync, the down button lights up the menu button and vice versa, sounds like this one is a firmware issue and is fixed in the next version? (How does firmware get updated? Via bluetooth and the app?)
- GPS doesn’t seem to work on my Go? (Unless it should take longer than 60s to fix outdoors with clear view to the sky when doing the hardware test?)
- Feature request: A way to initiate a sensor update manually with a toggle or touch button combo (3 quick presses?), no matter what the setting for update frequency is. Use case: Generally set the update frequency to be less often to save battery, but update manually when out and about and checking somewhere specific. Alternative or additional feature: Maybe a toggle/button combo that sets the update frequency to a second saved setting. E.g. toggle between update frequency for battery saving, update frequency for on-demand measurement? Or if not a hardware toggle/combo, an app button/setting that is only 1-3 taps, vs on device right now, unlock and at least 15-20 taps to change, then exit settings.
