European distributor

Just simulated an order to France and the duties are not paid upfront yet (and we don’t know who the carrier is?)

That would make the sensor more appealing, as carriers tend to charge random administrative costs when collecting duties.

Are you sure you don’t want to send a couple hundred kits to a European warehouse and deliver from within the EU? That would make things simpler and cheaper for everyone.

Hi @Nickduino,

Currently, DHL (with whom we ship DDP) is only enabled for Germany, UK, US, and Canada. Hopefully we can expand that to a few more countries this week. I will also see if we can add France to that list.

We looked at setting up a warehouse, but we’ve been very happy with how well DHL has done so far so we are instead looking to use DHL for all shipments to the EU. It’s much easier logistically (than setting up a warehouse) and it fixes the two major problems which were delivery speed (DHL usually delivers within one week - often within 4/5 days) and reliability.

Hello,
I ordered 2 itmes (out and in). Can you please check when it will be shipped, and when I can approximately get it? (#AG-BP1RD)

Thank you
Best regards,
Szilárd

Hi there! Your order is being processed. I’ve asked the logistics team for an update.

I’m lookng to order from DK / EU with a company VAT number (VAT excemption) is that something you will support soon?

You can email us via the support form and we’ll help out: https://www.airgradient.com/support/

A small update for everyone:

DHL DDP shipping is now enabled for the U.S, U.K, France, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Great updates.

Commenting here so I can get pinged if EU shipping gets enabled for Sweden.

The update did not mean that they are shipping from europe, DDP (Deliver Duty Paid) is that you are paying VAT beforehand to minimize dealing with customs / extra costs after shipping.
It’s still shipping from Taiwan.

Yes, this is correct (but we ship from Thailand).

Our biggest issue previously was delivery speed and reliability - DHL has allowed us to improve massively in both of these regards.

Hello All,
I am a little bit afraid of getting my stuff. From shipping date already 12 days gone, and no info, can you please update me? Tracking does not show data: [#AG-BP1RD] 16380049815718.
Thank you
Best regards
Szilárd

Hi there! DPD (the last-mile courier for your order) generally starts updating the tracking information only when they received the package locally in the destination country. Please give it a few more days and the tracking updated should appear. Currently the order is in international transit.

Hey @Ethan_AirGradient, any chance this could be extended to Portugal too?

Best regards

Hello All,
I would like to share the delivery data in my case:
Order : 2026.02.09 11:53 (website confirmed purchase)
ETA: 2026.03.03 15:38 (DPD local delivery guy handed over)(There was no cost)

Unfortunately the tracking infromation was not available at all.
However it is here. As I arrive home I will build it, Install it.
Best regards,
Szilárd

@dcaixinha Portugal is now enabled as is Sweden @moss.

The list is now:

U.S, U.K, France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland.

I’m just waiting for Belgium to be included for my order :slightly_smiling_face: is it in the plan?

Hi @mthorn,

Yes, for sure! I will see if we can get it enabled next week.

Are there any other country requests to be added next?

I know this topic is discussing Europe, but could you please also enable DDP for Brazil?

It’s been a while since I last received international shipments via DHL, but ~10 years ago I had bad experiences with them when the duties were not prepaid. DHL used to charge an additional (surprise) fee on delivery alongside the import duties, so it would be nice to know the full price upfront.

Could this be enabled for Croatia? I’ve been eagerly waiting to order a bunch of AirGradient sensors.

For me I am happy with just Belgium, if I understand it correctly it is not yet available
