Unable to connect to 2,4Ghz Wi-fi *wm:[ERROR] Connect to new AP Failed, Airgradient one

Hello,

Please take a look. I’ve been trying to connect airgradient one to new router for hours now with no result. I’ve separated the SSIDs and I am 100% certain that the SSID and password are correct. I’ve had the monitor on an older firmware so I flashed it to 3.3.8 and messages on the manitor changed to “connecting to wifi” but with same result. Here is a log

I couldn’t figure anything useful from it. Does this show something useful to any of you? Thanks

Tried to connect it to guest network and that somehow worked but it is not a solution for me.

Both main and guest network have separate SSIDs for 2,4 and 5Ghz, both are WPA-2 personal, both have band steering turned off, both on channel 6.

What did not help: restarting router, deleting device from the router history, update to 3.3.9.

No problems with other devices, just this one.

EDIT: The hotspot portal tells me that there is Authentication failure

Any chance your guest network doesn’t have a space in the SSID name?

Not that I think that is for sure the problem with a ONE, but with my Open Air Max it has a bug in the current firmware that didn’t want to connect to my SSID with a space. I temporarily upgraded to the most current in the github repo, connected to Wifi, and then it downgraded and stayed connected.

But I haven’t had the issue with the Indoor models in the past, but I haven’t had to reconfigure mine as a new device. Sounds like you already did firmware upgrades.

I would reach out to airgradient.com/support/ with a link to this Forum post so they for sure have tracking on it

Both have spaces in the name, actually. Good point for further dumbproofing of the network but this is not it, unfortunately :frowning:
