Sharing Data Indoor Monitor AirGradient One?

Perhaps a stupid question apologies in advanced.

I have an indoor AirGradient and would like to share the data such that it appears here: AirGradient Map

Is that possible or is it only for outdoor monitors?

I’ve looked here: Data Sharing and I do not have the tab for “Data Sharing” I have two tabs: “General” and “Monitor Settings”

Oh hmm looking a little deeper is the data sharing only for the Open Air? Not for the AirGradient ONE? If so how come?

Thanks

It is only applicable for Outdoor devices. Seeing a map of what people have in their indoors would have limited use, as I can bake something in the oven and cause PM2.5 to spike but that isn’t really relevant to others. So Outdoor devices are in theory reporting general ambient data, so if wild fires are leaving smoke in your area, that would be relevant to others.

Everything you say is true, in the sense that indoor monitors have limited use, but they do therefore have use.

Cue in the Worst Pirate Meme.

Yes the indoor monitors can be easily skewed true, but I still think the data would be of interest. If anything comparing the outdoor air quality to the indoor air quality.

Plus I’d imagine there are far more indoor AirGradient’s than outdoor?

Anyhow thought it might be interesting and if you can already share the outdoor data why not indoor?

Should be tagged as indoor of course so it’s easy to separate from outdoor.

Just a thought I guess.

That is ultimately a decision for the AirGradient team, but sharing what I think their response will be.

Absolutely and appreciate the response.

Just wanted to input my 2 cents as it were.
