Sensor "unstable" on IQAir

My sensor is constantly going offline on IQAir, but on AirGradient & OpenAQ it’s stable.

Any ideas?

IQAir says the sensor reporting uptime is less than 75%.

Hi @quaka! We no longer have an official integration with IQAir, and they fetch AG data from OpenAQ so I believe any issue should be on their side.

My sensor and other Airgardient sensors have got the same issue on iQAir Apps.

Glad I’m not the only one because it’s a real headscratcher. It’s been really bad this past month.

Unfortunately, as @Altair_AirGradient mentioned previously, IQAir no longer pulls data through our API directly, but rather, through OpenAQ. Since OpenAQ data looks to be complete, it seems there is an issue between OpenAQ and IQAir.

So who should I be contacting then? IQAir or OpenAQ

I have the same issue. Sent request to both

But anyway, @Ethan_AirGradient, why OpenAQ receive the data with 1h delay?

OpenAQ responded that everything is good on their side and errors on IQAir side, but they clarified that IQAir is aware of this issue and is working on a fix.

I think I can comment on this:

AirGradient reports hourly averages using a time-beginning convention
Example: 14:00 = average from 14:00–15:00

OpenAQ use time-ending
The same data is shown as 15:00

OpenAQ automatically converts AirGradient timestamps, which creates the impression of a 1-hour delay.
