PM2.5 Value on the display is 50% higher then value logged and in Home Assistant

Hello,

I hooked my airgradient one to my Home Assistant and to the Airgradient dashboard, and had it run for a day. Now I see that the PM2.5 value on the display of the device does not match the value being logged, by far.

For example currently the display shows 22ùg/m³ but the dashboards show 14.07 ùg/m³ and the chart shows it never even goes above 14. This is not an issue about 5 minute averages because HA is showing the “current” values and the issue has been for 12 hours like this. The value on the display is always nearly 50% higher then the value being logged.

Please see this picture on which all 3 values are captured in 1 shot:

Hi @Joris! Could you please take a debug log from the unit: Online Debug

and send it to us here: https://www.airgradient.com/support/

When you added to Home Assistant, it changes the Configuration Source to be Local so HA can control all of the aspects. One thing this can cause confusion on is what corrections are enabled and a few other settings.

In Home Assistant, go to Settings>Devices and find your AirGradient.
Try changing the Configuration Source to be Cloud, which ensures that any settings configured on the AirGradient Dashboard are reflected on your device, which can change the correction algorithms as well as if those corrections are used on the Display or not.

If this addresses it, then we know where the inconsistency is at, and can further advise on how to apply the same settings with Local control if that is your desire.
