PM2.5 readings are randomly spiking for about 5 seconds before going back to nominal levels

Hi

For (at least) the last 24h, my PM2.5 readings are randomly spiking for about 5 seconds before going back to nominal levels. The spikes aren’t happening at some fixed interval, so not sure if there’s a pattern. Not sure what’s going on. Can someone please help me troubleshoot? Thanks

Hi @adyavanapalli, welcome to our community!

Yes, we are happy to take a look at your dashboard!

Could you please provide your AirGradient monitor’s serial number to our support team here?: https://www.airgradient.com/support

Thanks!

Sure @Tai_AirGradient , it’s 404cca6a9870.

@Tai_AirGradient for reference, this is what the monitor’s activity read for the last 30 days in 1 hr buckets:

As you can see, it was reading somewhat regular readings, but all of a sudden, it’s changed since about June 20th.

@adyavanapalli, thanks for providing the info. Please let me discuss this with the team, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you!

Hi again @adyavanapalli ! I’ve consulted the team, and we agreed that we should investigate it further. Could you please contact us via https://www.airgradient.com/support ?

Please refer to this thread, and attach photos of the power adapter you use with the AirGradient monitor (a photo of the side of the adapter that has clear electrical information printed on would be appreciated). Thank you in advance!
