There was a recent conversation about sensors showing significantly different values from other nearby sensors being hidden. That could be what is going on
Hi bb,
If your monitor disappeared from the map, it could be due to connectivity issues, a device update, or account syncing problems. Try restarting the monitor and app, ensuring it’s online, and checking your account settings. If it still doesn’t appear, contacting support might be the best next step.
Thank you! This might be the reason, my monitor’s readings are worse than the nearby ones. However, there are reasons for this:
This outlier filtering is definitely too strict, and kills my plans to trigger attention to our air quality problem. Instead of filtering, they should mark somehow on the map the outlier values by color or symbol, instead of removing.
Is this post possibly read by AirGradient people, or shall I deliver my message in some other thread or channel?
Thx, bb
I agree with you it’s too strict from what I’ve seen personally too. Hopefully it’s corrected
Hi,
The monitor was online in airgradient app, but I restarted anyway, and now it reappaered on the map. If this was due to the restart, or the values are now more acceptable, or there was some other divine intervention, I do not know, but now seems to work - thanks!

Employees do read the forums, so we’ll see what they say, but I would probably go to the main website and open a support case. Give your serial number and a link to this thread and they can look at the historic data to see if it being filtered by the Outlier detection or if something else wasn’t reporting right to the server side.
