Best Humidifier for Bedroom You Should Consider in 2025

I tried to make my bedroom feel more comfortable because the air was getting really dry, especially at night. My skin felt rough, and I kept waking up with a dry throat. So I started searching for the best humidifier for bedroom in 2025 to fix this.
I looked at Amazon reviews and checked a few tech sites like TechRadar to see what people are using at home. After some quick research, these two humidifiers stood out the most:

LEVOIT LV600S Smart Hybrid Humidifier
LEVOIT Superior 6000S Smart Evaporative Humidifiers for Home
I’m not sure which one to buy yet. The LEVOIT has more features, but the MistAire is very simple and budget-friendly.
If anyone has used these or knows a better option, please share your experience.
Which humidifier works best for your bedroom?
Any advice or tips would really help. Thanks

I live in a sealed house and the average humidity has been 65%, so I don’t have a dry air problem. I do possess an ultrasonic humidifier (Xiaomi), but I find that the mist it generates is interpreted as air particles rather than water particles and all the HEPA filters then start working overtime to try to clear it. As yet I haven’t found a solution for this problem, other than changing to a non-ultrasonic version.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

PM sensors in most (if not all) consumer air quality monitors/air purifiers cannot differentiate the composition of the particles.

Could you please share how many PM readings you get when you start running the humidifier and what about the pattern of it? I just wonder as I have never had a humidifier in my house. It’s incredibly humid here in Thailand almost all the time, and our houses are not built fully sealed, so we rarely need it.

I’m sorry I can’t quantify it to that extent, Tai. I remember that the HEPA filters register in the 120 range when the humidifier is on. Over the last week the average humidity in Buriram was 42% (range is 25%-65%, with nighttime highest), whilst inside my sealed house it has been 59% (range is 50%-70%, with daytime highest), which is just about on the cusp of where I need to de-humidify, with 40%-50% considered optimal. Of course running the A/C is the way to dehumidify and I tend to do that at night, which probably explains the difference.
