Since about 2 weeks, in the already opened mobile AirGradient web app I repeatedly get messages that the connection to the AirGradient platform wouldn’t be possible any more. When I reload via browser, normally it then works again, but quite often, it suddenly takes a very long time until everything appears. It seems that the AirGradient servers suddenly may be significantly slower since some time?
Hi, lqms
We are currently working on a database migration, so load times might be slower than usual.
This shouldn’t last long.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Unfortunately, the issue still continues.
Additionally to the frequent massive slowdown, existing login is very often not recognized at first, but if you reload without logging in again, the existing login is suddenly recognized and it works again.
It’s still getting worse. This is no more reliable AirGradient as it used to be, but too often the web interface is hanging or login is temporarily lost or you have to re-login.
Hi @lqms - I apologize for the inconvenience. The issue is known and is being worked on with high priority. I believe we should have a resolution within the next few weeks. We’re working with the server service providers for a resolution.
My monitors have no connection to server for 5 hours now. Looks like your server is offline. The dashboard does load and tells me my monitors are offline. I checked and they are online but seems like they can’t reach your server.
There is a purple LED on the left of my indoor monitor. “Server is reachable but there is some configuration issue to be fixed on the server side.”
Is this still happening? We made some changes that should reduce occurrences of this issue. If it’s still happening, please reach out to us at support@airgradient.com with a log file (you can create one here: Online Debug)
Hi @Ethan_AirGradient ,
Thanks for asking. Yes, my monitors still have no connection to the server. I made a log file and just emailed this to the support email address. Hopefully this can help you.
For anyone having the same problem: It turned out to be a firewall rule on my router which I set up when I installed my monitors. I forgot about it. The airgradient server IP address recently changed and that’s why my monitors could’t connect to the server anymore. The old IP address is 128.140.49.53. The new IP address is 91.98.9.143.
