AirGradient Product Survey 2025

Customer feedback is at the heart of everything we do at AirGradient, and to me, it’s one of the most important aspects of running this company. As an open-source company, I believe our community doesn’t just use our products but, instead, you help to shape them. With this in mind, I recently asked our community to share their experiences, feedback, and wishes for AirGradient products so we could get a better understanding of where we currently stand and what needs to be improved.

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.airgradient.com/blog/airgradient-product-survey-2025/

Hello, I’m looking into purchasing a ONE but this post says that you’re planning on updating it this year. Is that still true, and should I hold off purchasing one? Thanks

Hi @squirrel, thank you for your question! Please let me confirm this with our team, and I will give you an update here!

Hi @squirrel, I’m back! It seems the plan remains the same. We don’t have an exact date yet, but ideally, later this year.

@Tai_AirGradient thanks for the update, but now I’m not sure whether to wait or not, do you have any advice?

You’re welcome! It’s quite difficult to choose between getting V9 instantly or waiting for V10.

The V9 is still a solid choice with consistent firmware and feature upgrades (e.g., it will be compatible with Sensirion SPS30 PM module soon). So the arrival (in the future) of V10 doesn’t mean the support of V9 will be terminated. We always try our best to maintain support and cross-generation component compatibility.

For the new ONE (V10), as far as I know, the new AirGradient ONE (V10) is likely to come with a larger e-paper display than the OLED display on V9. Let me ask the product development team if they have any recent updates to share with us.

Hi @squirrel!

I have some updates from our hardware engineer that could be helpful for you. Please note that all of these are still in the development phase (we have been recently busy with the AirGradient Go). The final product could be different.

Let’s talk about the AirGradient ONE v10. We are yet to decide which size of the e-paper display we’ll use. But it’s likely a 2.13" e-paper + touch. In terms of the enclosure, we’ll try to maintain the original look as much as we can. The MCU will be an ESP32-C5. A pressure sensor might be added. And the monitor should support the Sensirion SPS30 PM sensor.

The goal of V10 is to be a refreshed model with a modular sensor design.

Here’s the PCB of the e-paper that we are testing on V10:

Still, again, these are works in progress. The final looks can be a bit different (or entirely different). We’ll let you know in our forum or the blog post once we have more updates.
