I wanted to try setting up my AirGradient Go for tracking data prior to connecting it to either the AirGradient cloud dashboard, or the smartphone app.
I was wondering, will it get time from GPS or some other source prior to me connecting it to anything? Or will time just be incorrect in Offline mode until I connect it to something else?
It would be neat if it can grab time from GPS to set its internal clock so its stored data has the correct timestamps, even if it’s never been connected to the app or cloud. (And alternatively, if NTP could be used if it connects to WiFi, even if it does not connect to AirGradient’s cloud).
I haven’t tested any of this yet, so maybe it does just set the time — but I couldn’t find any time data in the Settings on the device.
