What is the meaning of the different shades on dashboard?

Hi there,

on the dashboard in the graphs are different shades used. (See example).
I’m not sure about there meaning.
It seems, that the time between 8 pm and 8 am is in a colored in different shades.
Do you want to display the daytime and nighttime? If so, it would be better in my opinion to use the time between 6pm and 6am, as that’s used on analog watches with GMT function (second timezone).

Feature request: Calculate sunrise and sunset from the place location and display the real night time in different shades.

Glad to look forward to more improvements to the dashboard

I believe it has something to do with opening hours

Thanks. That could be possible.
But as these are not configurable according to air gradient the shades make no sense in my opinion.
So it would be great, if these shading could be used to display really day- and night times.

How can we disable the “shading” entirely? I bought an Open Air for personal use, and I couldn’t care less about opening hours. It’s just misleading because it tricks you into thinking that somehow the lighter color means “less pollution”.
