Temperature inaccurate

I have two indoor AirGradient ONE devices. One of them consistently records a temperature about ten degrees higher than other temperature sensors in those rooms. I have Nest Temperature Sensors and also portable sensors. In my living room: AirGradient, Nest, and Portable all agree. In my main bedroom: Nest and Portable agree, but AirGradient is 10f higher. I’ve tried turning the Temperature Calibration on and off (although my understanding this is only applied to outdoor AirGradients?) and there is no change. Is it just a faulty sensor?

Can you post pictures of how you have the AirGradients mounted? They must be standing up and not laying on their back

I’m not home right now, but they’re both wall-mounted at a height within the guidelines. Both on exterior walls, but neither gets direct sunlight. Not near doors or windows, etc. The portable sensors I’m using to compare are a couple of feet below the AirGradients.

ok, then pictures aren’t really necessary. Was just going to make sure they weren’t laying on their back or not using the stands to keep some airflow below.

Did you assemble them yourself or were they pre-assembled? If you installed the sensors, it is often the case that people put the temp sensor in the upper location that is designed for the TVOC sensor. The temperature SHT sensor should be in the lower location so it isn’t impacted by the heat from other components rising.

Assembled myself. I did these two indoor units at the same time. I’m 99% sure I did the same for both. But, good idea of things to check. Thank you!

Well, that 1% doubt was worth considering. I opened up both units today and, as you suggested, the temperature sensor was in the wrong place in the one measuring 10f warmer. Thank you so much!
