Temperature difference

Hi,

I have an AirGradient ONE (Model I-9PSL), all good. This is not an issue but just a comment.

I used to have it in one room, moved to another for some testing and then back to the initial room.

In this initial room, I have a Danfoss Thermostat. I don’t have the exact difference (I cannot check past values from the Danfoss Thermostat), but I am sure that now the difference between both of them is bigger. It used to be about 0.1 °C, and now it’s 0.5 °C.

It is not a big deal, just curiosity.

We don’t use any temperature correction for the indoor monitor and the enclosure heat up therefore has a little impact. On average I see around 0.3C higher than ambient. So I think your values are within the range.

We are currently implementing better compensation and correction features on the dashboard that once completed can be used to fine tune the monitors.

I think they are within range too, it’s ok for me. However I had two doubts:

  1. I’m pretty sure it used to be less difference, both in the same location.
  2. the temperature of the monitor is lower than the thermostat. I would expect it to be higher due to the enclosure.

Anyway, it’s ok.
