This forum is starting to get spammed with Amazon affiliate links under the guise of asking what is the most suitable device, followed by links to the devices that they have been ‘recommended’ etc.
(An affiliate gets commission if you buy that product direct from the link and buy most other things from Amazon over 24 hours)
The members posting these links seem to have joined up purely to post the spam and have no further input in the thread.
It is easy to see if the link is affiliated (and all the Amazon links I’ve seen here so far are) because the link includes tag=xxxxx-
That section of the link usually begins linkCode=xxxxtag=yyyyy-
xxxxx and yyyyy are part of the affilliate ID. and are usually always the same for that affiliate.
The links are often very long, and you may only be able to see the full details if you copy and paste the link as text somewhere.
You may want to ignore these posts and not bother to reply to them (save yourself the effort!). Likewise, not click on links.
