Single LED not working (far right - D11) on Indoor Model: I-9PSL-DE

I recently bought the DIY version of the Model: I-9PSL-DE indoor AG monitor. This is the second one I’ve bought this year, very simple and quick to assemble and get running.

I set it up five days ago and have only just realised that the far right LED (Dll) isn’t working. At the time, when I set it up, I had it next to an existing Indoor Air Gradient. I did notice that it was only showing one LED whereas the existing one was showing two, but didn’t pay much attention as the readings were slightly slower on the new one. The monitor display was working correctly. The new monitor was then placed in another room.

The new minitor was recognised in HA along with my other AGs, and I added it to the AG Desktop.

From a data point of view, everything worked as it should in HA and the desktop, so I wasn’t bothered about physically checking the new monitor in its new place. When I checked the monitor this morning, there were no LEDs lit. PM2.5 was showing on the monitor as 0, so the first LED should be green. Burning a match nearby, quickly increased the PM reading, lighting all the other LEDs

The LED display is set for PM, but D11 is not working when set for C02 either.

I did a LED test and confirmed that the LED (D11) wasn’t working on any of the colours.

The firmware is showing as up to date (3.4.1)

In HA, the configuration is set to Cloud. I did try it on Local and did a LED test in Local as well but, as expected, D11 was still blank.

I checked LED D11 on the PCB - it is there :-). I assume that D11 is at the end of the LED chain and, if so, perhaps it’s not receiving the data from D10.

I can’t think of anything else to check. Any suggestions as to what I may have missed?

Thanks

Hi @Rog!

If the LED isn’t lighting during the LED test, the only realistic cause is a hardware fault on the LED itself and a replacement mainboard is likely the only correct fix. Please contact us through the support form and, if possible, include a short video of the LED test showing D11 failing to light. We’ll arrange a replacement mainboard for you right away!

Just sent video to support
