Setup Again - all data lost? Help

I’ve have an indoor monitor for a year now, and all of a sudden there seems to be no monitor connected to my account, it wants me to setup a new monitor. It looks like I have lost all my data. The monitor is still connected to home assistant. Does anyone have an idea of what when wrong? I guess I can get all the serial and stuff again and re-set it up, but I would like the data back.

Any chance you have multiple accounts and are signed into one that isn’t associated with your account?

I would open a support case with your serial number and what username for the Dashboard you are using and they can look into it:

Hi @FuzzyNautilus,

@MallocArray is probably right. There should be no way that the data can suddenly disappear from your dashboard unless it’s manually deleted. The most likely cause is that there are either multiple dashboards under one email (and when you log in, it goes to the one without a monitor) or that the email is not associated with the monitor.

Please reach out to our support, and we would be happy to sort this out for you!

So I tracked down the issue. I’ve recently started using Comet, Perplexity’s browser (which is based on Chromium), and for some unknown reason, even though it shows me logged in, it wants me to add a device. It can not seem to see my current device. When I got back to Brave or Chrome, the device shows.
Not knowing enough about how things are set up, I can’t really imagine why, but I’ve logged out and back in on Comet and still nothing. So I guess if I need to log into my account for something that might not be in Home Assistant, I’m going to have to use another browser.
Thanks for all the advice
