Senseair S8 wrong way on v4.0 board ?

Hello, I’m placing the senseair S8 on the pcb v4, but it seems on wrong way:
When I check G+ connection,

Should I continu to put the senseair on other way and respect instructions, or should I connect the G+ correctly on the right side, and ignore instructions about this step ?

Thanks

What directions are you following? Can you share a link?
That looks like the early DIY kit, which had the S8 sensor flipped around from how later boards are designed, so I think you need to flip it over so G+ lines up with G+ on the board. Also notice how the tab on that side is closer to the bottom on the board and closer to the top on your sensor, indicating it needs to be flipped over.

Unsoldering those headers can be a challenge though.

Hello, I’m using the following tuto:
documentation/diy-v4/ (can’t post link)

Finally I unsolder the headers (by breaking the pin, and removing one by one), and replace now in correct place. I can’t test it yet, because I don’t have the right D1 Mini component (with usb-c).

Wait and see.

Thank you. Those directions are for the v4 board and yours is labeled as V2, which is why there is a discrepancy.

The directions for your board are The AirGradient DIY Air Quality Sensor (Basic Version PCB Version < 3.0) although this is not easy to find anymore since all earlier versions aren’t on the overview page anymore.

But sounds like you are on your way.

Just so you know, you don’t need a D1 Mini with a USB-C port. As long as it is a D1 Mini, you can use a Micro-USB cable to connect it to your computer and install the firmware the same way.

Ohh, I didn’t see it was the version 2, the link to pcb was the same :(.
Fortunately the component list are the same.
I will follow v2 instruction currently

for the D1 Mini, mine have no usb port, and less larger than OLED.
