No Wifi access point

Hi,
I recently bought an Indoor Monitor (kit version). The kit arrived today.
I assembled that parts and powered on the unit.

However, NO WIFI access point was created for me to join so that I could add the credentials of my normal WIFI.

I checked with 2 different iPhones, an iPad and a separate mini-PC.
NO WIFI access point was created by the AirGradient unit.

I also checked with my router settings webpage, no WIFI access point from the AirGradient unit!

The small display on the unit front panel does display: temp, humidity, CO2, PM2.5 and VOC data.

I’m not sure what to do now - I’m NOT very happy right now!!!
Any suggestions?

The access point only appears when it first powers up and only for a few minutes.
Try removing the power cable and then plug it back in and search for a new Wifi network name right away from your phone or PC.

I wouldn’t expect your Router to show anything unless it is looking for nearby access points.

Worst case, you could flash the latest firmware, or open a support ticket
airgradient.com/support/

I’ve now fixed the issue with the “no wifi access point”.
I pressed the tiny factory reset button on the rear of the unit located next to the power connection.
That forced the unit to update and then the wifi setup became available.

The unit has now been working for several hours.
I’ve successfully added it to my Home Assistant.

Many thanks.
