I haven’t had Air Gradient One on for about 6 months and today I fired up Home Assistant and Air Gradient which updated it’s firmware. Now there is no display or LEDs but data being sent to HA appears correct. Any ideas I can try?
Was it nighttime in your area? There is a setting in the dashboard to turn off the display after a certain time but I thought it dimmed the LEDs and not turned them off, but I’ve customized mine to a level I wanted so not sure what the default is.
When you added HomeAssistant integration, it also likely changed the Configuration Source inside of the HA configuration to Local so it isn’t pulling the config from the cloud which could have locked it to the Office setting until you manually turn it on.
Try checking the Configuration Source and set it to Cloud for testing
OK thank you. I woke up this morning and the display and LEDs are working. I will keep investigating. How do you change the Configuration source to Cloud? cheers from Tasmania
In Home Assistant, go to Settings, Devices and under Air Gradient and select your device. Under the Configuration heading, set the source to Cloud to let the AirGradient Dashboard site control the configuration
Thank you again. That’s fixed it. It makes sense now. I also went to the default place configuration and ticked the boxes there as well.
