New AirGradient ONE (I-9PSL) particle sensor may not be working correctly.

I recently bought an AirGradient which replaced an AirThings plus that was in my kitchen. I moved the Airthings to the basement. Every day when we cook the Airthings shows high particulates which is expected. The airgradient rarely detects anything maybe 1-3ppm on pm2.5. PM1 and PM10 also rarely show anything at all. PM .3 does seem to show some movement. However my Airthings that I moved to the basement is still picking up PM 2.5 during cooking. Anything I can check on my end?

Light a candle leave it burning for a minute, then blow on the flame. You will get fence white smoke - put sensor into it and it should spike to the maximum value immediately
