Multiple Issues with AirGradient One I-9PSL

I am having multiple issues with my AirGradient One I-9PSL as well as its Home Assistant Integration:

  1. Firmware is 3.1.13 - The Home Assistant Integration says “Update Available”, but when I click on it, I don’t get any option to install “3.1.21”, only to Skip it.
  2. When I reboot the AirGradient One unit, the screen shows “Update Failed. Will Retry”, but it never does and its stuck on 3.1.13
  3. The latest firmware shown on the AirGradient Web site is “3.1.13” and not the “3.1.21” that the available update shows on the Home Assistant Integration. Which one is correct?
  4. There are no options in the Home Assistant AirGradient Integration to NOT "“Post Data to AirGradient”. That option, at one time, existed. But now it appears to have been removed. Why?
  5. I have seen discussions on turning off the Server Connection and turning off Posting Data to AirGradient, but I can’t find any information on how to do that. How do I do that?

Thanks

P.S. I realize a lot of these issues may be HA Integration related and not with the unit itself, but I’ve given up posting issues to the HA Github as they just get ignored for a few months and then closed from inactivity and never fixed. Hopefully someone can help with a least a few of these issues.

Thanks again.

I’m not sure if 3.2.0 was pulled, but it isn’t in the list of firmware to be pushed in the Dashboard:

You could compile 3.2.0 yourself and install
Release Release 3.2.0 · airgradienthq/arduino

The stuff about not sending to AirGradient when on WiFi I believe is addressed in 3.2.0 although it isn’t fully available right now.

Thanks for the response.
I’m not using the Dashboard, but the HA AirGradient App for two reasons: Security and Privacy.
It’s very easy to tell when someone is home or not by the CO2 levels and Internet connected IoT devices get hacked, always.
It’s just curious why a feature that supports Privacy and Security (Post Data to Air Gradient) was removed from the HA Integration (or the firmware) with no way, at the present, turn set it on or off.
So for now, I’ve blocked AG1 from Internet access, and live with the annoying purple light, and will wait for the update.

P.S. After reading through some of the docs, it appears I can turn reporting off via the API using ‘Curl’ (?), but disableCloudConnection is only accessible from the Cloud?!?

Again, very strange that Privacy and Security features, once easily accessible, have been obfuscated from the average user.

Thanks.

Hi @DaHai8 ,

disableCloudConnection is a read only configuration. Please see here under notes after the table. You can change from wifi setup webpage (only for version 3.2.0).

I think I already pointed that out, and that 3.2.0 is not released yet.
