Modifing The AirGradient DIY 4.0 by adding SGP41 (TVOC/eCO2) sensor

I’m having a DIY 4.0 setup.

I was wondering if I could use the remaining 4 ports right across the temp sensor for adding a TVOC/eCO2 sensor such as the SGP41 one I have lying around (though, I might have fried it since I tried to power it with 5V)

I was wondering if anyone has tried to share experiences. I have several concerns:
• On the AirGradient board the ports go like this G > 5V > SCL > SDA and on the sensor they are VCC > G > SDA> SCL
• I don’t think the sensor can support 5V. I believe it’s in the range of 1.62V-1.98V
• No idea how the software part should go

PS: I wish I could share pics but I can’t as a new user, so here’s a workaround:
• The board: prnt.sc/akarOD85nNdM
• The sensor: prnt.sc/MWSEhOTSgn-E

You won’t be able to use that port directly, since the vcc and g are switched from your sensor and it is 5V vs the much lower your sensor shows it needs.

If the sensor was 3.3 v, then you could use the other pads to run a jumper cable to your sensor, even though it wouldn’t be mounted on the board, but there isn’t anything that will provide the 1.6 - 1.9v range, so not sure how to best drive that.

There are other SGP41 sensors that can work with 5v no problem, but you’ll have the same issue with the 5v and ground ports being flipped
