I’m trying to finish assembling the pro kits that have been piled by my desk for 8 months. (Long story short: bad timing. I started a new job right when they shipped.) I put together one full kit a while ago. I also bought several conversion kits because I already had most of the parts.
I’m missing the “JST Connector 1.25mm 8 Pin for PMS” mentioned in the instructions. I’d rather buy it than cut/solder wires straight onto the board.
Searching DigiKey for something that matches:
- this search (header, male pins; mounting type through-hole; 8 positions; 1 row; manufacturer JST; in stock) doesn’t show anything with 1.25mm pitch spacing. And I measured 8 positions (7 spaces) in 9mm, so 1.25mm per space seems about right.
- this connector seems to have the right specs, and it visually matches the one on my fully assembled board, but it’s from Molex, not JST, so I thought I’d check. Is this the one?
