I downloaded the DIY_OUTDOOR_C3 code and went through the Arduino process, including patching the PMS libraries. It looks like the code compiled okay, but would not flash due to this Java error, JAVA IO.IOException,“REMOVE/esptool.exe”. Is there another library that is needed? I added the 2 libraries listed in the code banner.
Are you on the latest versions of the ESP32 board manager?
Resolved by using version 2 Arduino IDE instead of version 1.
