I would like to mount my Airgradient to the wall where the intercom of my apartment used to be. However, when I place the device there, I get some very high readings (more than outside). Therefore, I suspect that something interferes with the pm2.5 particle sensor.
Please refer to this video, to understand my problem.

What’s inside that junction box?
- 240v/50hz + ground terminal block
- 240v/50hz passes through
- 2 dumb wires which connect to my doorbell-button
- Ethernet cable with PoE
As these wires are part of the apartment building, I cannot simply disable them to do some troubleshooting.
Another option might be that they are blowing very unhealthy air trough the pipes that are used by the wires. I suspected maybe that the elevator generated some over or under pressure. But there doesn’t seem to be any correlation between elevator movements. There was also a lot of dust in the junction box, which a cleaned up to eliminate that as well.
Any ideas on what this could be?
