I bought my AirGradient sensor primarily to determine if we could safely use the gas fireplace in the older home we bought this year. If the NOx index goes up to 2 or 3 while the fireplace is in use, is there any reason for concern? I don’t really understand how the index works, but since the scale goes up to 500, should I not worry about a reading of 3? Thanks in advance!

I would say values of 2-3 on the NOx index are not cause for concern.
