Hoping current GO can operate without making ANY light (bedstand night time)

Hi all - my GO has not arrived yet (likely Novenber, i think)

I’m hoping the current GO can operate without making ANY light (bedstand night time) while I sleep?

and related question - how will i light up the screen temporarily if i want to check the air quality in the middle of the night, then make the unit 100% dark while i go back to sleep?

The AirGradient Go can operate without illuminating any lights. The CO2 sensor (SenseAir S12) doesn’t have a visible light, unlike the SenseAir S8/S88 in AirGradient ONE and Open Air. So there won’t be any light pollution from the Go disturbing you while you are sleeping.

For your second question, unfortunately, since the display is an E-paper display, it cannot illuminate on its own. So you will need to shine some light on it (just like a real paper). In the first batch of the AirGradient Go, we had the ‘Display LED’ which can help (a bit) with this, but we later decided to get rid of these LEDs since they don’t serve the functionality very well.
