AirGradient Forum

Forum automatically flags legitimate links as spam

This is a meta note about the forum itself. I’ve noticed that if I post links to AirGradient documentation or code, the forum software blocks me with a message saying “Posts to this domain are not allowed.” It shows this message for links to airgradient.com or to github.com, where AirGradient publishes its source.

These restrictions make it difficult to discuss AirGradient and link to relevant resources during the discussion.

It may be a a restriction on new accounts. I was able to post links to the AirGradient page in your previous thread.

@Altair_AirGradient - Merging from other thread:

Should be unblocked now. No, as I said before, this is not intentional. The forum hides posts with external links until they are reviewed manually. This is to prevent spam and potential phishing.

If repeat links are posted in comments, the post goes into review again.

Can AirGradient folks adjust the spam settings to that links to airgradient.com and github.com don’t count as spam?
