Feature Request: gradient colors instead of hard cutoff on dashboard

As of now the color shown next to a text value, say PM2.5, is based on a range of values, such as green for Good, yellow for Moderate etc.

I think it would make sense to instead smoothly transition the color between those ranges. Say 0-10 is green and 10-20 is yellow.
So when the value is 5 it should be 50% green and 50% yellow.

These colors indicate how “healthy” the values are but they make a lot of less sense now, for example going from 9.9 as green to 10.0 as yellow isn’t actually any meaningful change but it shows up as a whole different color.

Maybe the same can also be said for the LEDs?

@Achim_AirGradient How to address each of the LEDs?

This is currently not possible.

As Achim mentioned, not currently possible with the stock firmware. But it is open source so you could make it whatever you desire and compile it yourself.

There are also configs for using ESPHome so you could configure different LED settings with that, it just takes a different knowledge set to use that configuration.
