do I need better d1 mini board? (have some clone)…
dis someone upgrded code to be compatible with ArduionoJson 6x or 7x…
i tryed to convert it with gotchat… it compiles… bit some dat is not diplayed correctly…

That doesn’t look like the standard display for a DIY kit, so you might be somewhat on your own for figuring out what isn’t configured correctly. The good part is that there is recognizable text on the display, but it doesn’t appear to be what the display is fully expecting.
Ah, I misunderstood and thought you were working with the DIY Monitor, but I see you are talking about DIY Display, which isn’t currently sold and completely different firmware, so I haven’t looked into it
So I won’t be much help with why your code isn’t working.
If I were to attempt this today, I would look at the Cheap Yellow Display to get ESP32 with more performance, but would require rewriting most/all of the code
