DIY D1 Mini not matching install guide

Could use a bit of help, I’ve put together a number of pro kits, but this is my first DIY basic.

The soldering of the long headers through the D1 Mini is giving me a bit of trouble. The D1 Mini in my kit is listed as v4.0.0. My problem is that the components appear to be mounted on the opposite side of the board from the DIY instructions. To get the silk screened lines to match up with the AirGradient PCB I have to flip it over from what is on the install guide. This also aligns the reset button with what is screened on the PCB.

Yes correct, you need to flip it over.
We are using the better D1 mino version now also for the basic kit. I will update the guide.

Appreciate the reply, thank you. I stared at that for longer than I cared to admit.

I feel like the screen position to the 3D printed case might have been reliant on the components that are no longer between the board. Any tips for spacing the screen? Dry fit seems the screen is a bit far away from the case now.
