I just got in a new AirGradient kit and the display is not working. I tried several different power sources and I tried reaching out to support.
Hi @Troy1, sorry for the inconvenience you encountered.
Could you please let me know your monitor’s configuration by accessing it via a web browser on a computer/mobile that are on the same Wi-Fi network as the AirGradient monitor?
You can use this URL to access your monitor config
http://airgradient_xxxxxxxxxx.local/config
Please change xxxxxxxxxx to your monitor’s serial number.
Thank you!
Hi, where do I find the serial number?
Hi @Troy1,
For a DIY unit, you’ll see the serial number when the monitor’s Wi-Fi portal is opened. You can force it to open Wi-Fi portal by resetting the monitor by pressing and holding the back button (use a small pin or toothpick) for 10-15 seconds, then release the button.
This will reset the Wi-Fi credentails that were saved to the monitor before. It will open the Wi-Fi portal (the same Wi-Fi initialization process that you saw when you connected it first time to your home Wi-Fi.
When the portal opens, it means you’ll find the monitor’s Wi-Fi hotspot with a name like airgradient-xxxxxxxxx, please note down the xxxxxxxxx part which is your monitor’s S/N.
After that, please proceed with Wi-Fi connection process normally (connect your phone to monitor’s hotspot using the password cleanair , then, in the monitor’s Wi-Fi portal, select your home Wi-Fi and fill in your home Wi-Fi password, and save.
