Basic can't connect to the Dashboard

Hi, I just recently assembled the first of my three Basic DIY V2 boards. I can connect to it just fine, but when I try to add it to the dashboard, it never says its online. I can ping the device on my network, so it is working and connected. I don’t have any special rules about outbound traffic on my network.

I have flashed it using the web browser and using the Arduino app. Both have the same results. I’ve removed and readded it multiple times. The serial number displayed is 5 digits, so I added a 0 to the start to make it six.

Anything else I should try? Its a cool device and I’d love to see some stats. I do want to get it to work with Prometheus, but that looks like some coding is going to be involved, so its not going to be a quick project.

Also the temperature is off by probably 6+ degrees F. Any idea on that?

What firmware version are you having flashed ?

On the web its loading AirGradient DIY BASIC (Fahrenheit) 2023.08.21.
When I use the Arduino IDE, its using AirGradient Library 3.0.9 and loading core version 3.1.2.

I did notice the console log, and I see this when
http://hw.airgradient.com/sensors/airgradient:108f5/measures
400
sensor ‘airgradient:108f5’ is not configured

It needs to match, so in the Dashboard, remove the 0 that you added

The issue is that I can’t. The onboarding page says the minimum serial is 6 digits. I can’t enter a 5 digit serial number.

Could you please connect the monitor to your computer and then generate a log file. Information on how to make a log file can be found here:
