Airgradient order from Mexico

Just FYI for anyone else purchasing the Airgradient from Mexico. I ended up paying almost 2x for it with all the shipping and handling fees, which was a lot more than I expected.

I ended up paying:

  • 30 USD for DHL express shipping (since the regular shipping was 25 USD, I thought why not).
  • 33.5% import fee since the product ships from Thailand, so another ~40 USD
  • Plus another ~30 USD administrative fees charged by DHL.

I was naively expecting to only pay 16% VAT for the import :’)

Anyway, aside from my bleeding wallet, I’m excited to be receiving it next week. :smiley:
