AirGradient One Accuracy

I’m a bit surprised all of my PM sensors are reading Zero. Is this common?

Depends on your house.

Mine often reads zero, but I can set the device outside and see it jump to about the same outdoor values I get from the AirNow site.

Interesting. I got it to see if home air filtration was worth the investment but it seems like it isn’t based on these numbers. Assuming everything is correct.

You can also observe the PM0.3 particle counts. This could give you a finer resolution.

Great point. I do also have some sort of number for the PM0.3 count, usually in the double digits for me

Yes this is really low. It would be interesting to know the outdoor values. If outdoors is much higher you really have an excellent purification system.

I have similar values with a positive pressure high performance purification system:

Pink is my AG Open Air mounted on my deck
Yellow is AG One in my basement

One easy way to test he PM2.5 sensor is extinguish a candle by it or burn a small piece of paper and direct the smoke to it.
