Thomas Sanladerer from the “Made with Layers” Youtube channel just posted a new video about a sensor you can print to monitor emissions from your 3D Printer with a custom PCB and familiar sensors:
Thanks for sharing. It’s a nicely done video but I think it also shows the common misconception that as soon as you get values out of a monitor you can trust them.
Like recommending the SGP30 over the SCP40 because it does give ppb values or the statement that the estimated CO2 is surprisingly good are things that I don’t agree with.
When I look at our current work, I think we spend at least 10 times more on really understanding the values and developing corrections than to get the raw values out of the module in the first place.
