Independent Power Source Setup for Outdoor Monitor

My balcony (outside space) doesn’t have any power source.

I’m wondering if anyone has found a good solution to this already (e.g. solar, battery) and already tested/ experienced it to confirm it’s viable/ practical.

I have a security camera in a remote area of my yard. You need a solar panel, a charge controller, and a battery. This might work for you.

TBER Solar Panel Kit (25w panel + charge controller)
7.5 AH LiFePO4 battery

The charge controller has a USB port. You might need a larger solar panel if the area gets limited direct sunlight. Add an inline fuse for safety connected to the battery.

Have you already purchased a monitor? If not, the Max might be a good solution as it comes with a solar panel and batteries included. It’s basically ready to be deployed and. as long as the balcony gets direct sunlight regularly, could be a good choice.

If you already have an Open Air or ONE that you want to put on your balcony, there are some other users that have succeeded at using solar/batteries. Here is one example:

@Ethan_AirGradient @Victor_Strasser thanks for posting these. Exactly what I needed.

Given the Max is pre-setup for this, it looks like the best option - so I’ll wait for it to go live.
